JOSEPH LADERER
Managing Director
Joseph Laderer is responsible for Western Region investment activities including credit, structuring, closing oversight as well as the performance monitoring and asset management of investments. Mr. Laderer is a member of the Investment and Valuation Committees.
Previously, Mr. Laderer was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners where he was responsible for commercial loan originations, underwriting, structuring and asset management in the western United States. During his tenure at Guggenheim Partners, Mr. Laderer arranged over $1 billion of commercial mortgages for the Company’s four capital sources, including portfolio senior loans, portfolio bridge loans, CMBS, and agency. Prior to joining Guggenheim Partners in 2011, Mr. Laderer was a Director in the western regional office of Deutsche Bank Mortgage Capital, LLC. Mr. Laderer joined DBMC in 2005 and developed a five person team responsible for CMBS loan originations and underwriting covering the western United States. Mr. Laderer held similar positions at Nomura Credit & Capital and Column Financial since 1996. Prior to his commercial lending experience, Mr. Laderer was a senior member of BDO Seidman, LLP’s commercial real estate consulting practice.
Mr. Laderer holds a BS in Business (Accounting concentration) from Binghamton University. Mr. Laderer obtained his CPA license in the State of New York (1993 – currently inactive) and holds a CA Real Estate Broker’s license.
